Alvin High School Choir Booster Club

The Alvin High School Choir Booster Club consists of AMAZING choir parents that volunteer and chaperone at events/trips, organize the annal end-of-the-year choir banquet, and assist with financial support of the Alvin High School Choir program.

Section #1 Alvin ISD Policy

All volunteers are required to undergo a criminal history background check BEFORE volunteering at events.

Section #2 Volunteer Opportunities

2025-2026 Booster Club Parent Volunteer Needs

Aug. 23 -- Choir Camp, 1pm-8pm   |   camp support, pool dinner   |    10 parents needed

Sept. 20 -- District Choir Auditions, 7am-4pm   |   trip chaperone (drive or ride the bus)   |   8 parents needed

Sept. 23 -- All-Region Preview Concert, 3pm-5pm/5pm-7pm   |   event assistants (2 shifts)   |   6 parents needed

Sept. 26 -- Choir Lock-In, 3pm-7pm   |   dinner prep, event assistant   |    10 parents needed

Oct. 10 -- Singo Fundraiser Event, 4pm-8pm   |   event setup and concessions   |   10 parents needed

Oct. 25 -- Region Choir Auditions, 7am-4pm   |   trip chaperone (drive or ride the bus)   |   4 parents needed

Nov. 18 -- Elementary Honor Choir Concert, 5pm-7pm   |   event assistant  |   3 parents needed

Dec. 4 -- Pre-Area Choir Auditions, 3pm-9pm   |   trip chaperone (drive or ride the bus)   |   2 parents needed

Dec. 9 -- Winter Choir Concert, 3pm-5pm/5pm-7pm   |   event assistants (2 shifts)   |   6 parents needed

Jan. 29-31 -- Musical, 5pm-9pm   |   event assistants   |   5 parents needed each performance

Mar. 31 -- UIL Choir Concert, 3pm-5pm/5pm-7pm   |   event assistants (2 shifts)   |   6 parents needed

May 15 -- Pop Show, 3pm-5pm/5pm-7pm   |   event assistants (2 shifts)   |   6 parents needed

May 16 -- Banquet, 4pm-8pm   |   event assistants (2 shifts)   |   5 parents needed*

*must have assisted with at least TWO (2) of the events above to be invited to the end-of-the-year Banquet

Section #3 Booster Club Membership

Membership is $5.00 per family. If you have more than 1 child in the choir program, membership is still only $5.00. Both parents can attend the monthly meetings. However, each family receives one vote on agenda items.
